Windows Media Player komplett entfernen!

    Moin,
    Habe folgendes Problem ich möchte den Windows Media Player komplett entfernen aber irgendwie kann man nur ein rollback machen und das möchte ich nicht.Gibt es noch eine andere Möglichkeit?
    Hoffe das mir einer helfen kann

    Soweit ich weiß kann man den garnicht entfernen sondern nur auf eine alte Version zurückspielen:

    Anscheinend gibt es eine Möglichkeit ihn zu deinstallieren, es wird jedoch stark davon abgeraten, WEIL er zu sehr ins OS integriert ist

    Soweit ich weiss, kann man den WMP nicht deinstallieren..

    Hab allerdings gelesen das es mit dem Service Pack 1 moeglich sein soll (hab's allerdings nicht getested und wuerde es auch nich riskieren wollen).

    Das einzige was du machen koenntest waere, es aus der Systemsteuerung zu entfernen (auch bei 'Windows-Komponenten hinzufuegen/entfernen) und die restlichen Dateien im WMP InstallationsOrdner loeschen.
    Das wuerde ich aber auch nicht unbedingt empfehlen..

    man kann ihn glaub ich aus der softwareliste rausnehmen so wie den Internetexplorer, Spiele etc

    ich hab ma gegooglt und bin auch nur soweit gekommn das es sich nich lohnt ( sind 15 mb die frei werdn ) und das es zu probs kommn kann wegn der starkn einbingung in windos..

    aber hab das noch geufen :



    Q. How do I uninstall WMP 10?
    A. How to Uninstall / Rollback Windows Media Player (WMP) 10

    1.) Go to the Add/Remove Programs Control Panel.
    (If you are running XP SP2 at the top of Add/Remove Programs there is a box "Show Updates" turn it on and WMP 10 Technical Beta should be displayed.)
    2.) Select "Windows Media Player 10" in order to rollback.


    If that does not roll you back, reinstall the player on top of the existing install of WMP10-beta (do not try to munge the WMP files by hand: that will just break your system- you will need to complete one extra reinstall in order to counteract that).

    If you need to reboot, do so, and then again reinstall the player on top of the existing install. The rollback point will NOT be functional until you complete a reinstall of the player that does NOT require a reboot. At that point, the WMP10 rollback point in the Add/Remove Programs Control Panel should be functional.

    ***WMP10-beta also creates a System Restore point for you to use if you need it. If you had System Restore turned off, WMP10-beta showed you a message explaining that having System Restore turned off would disable your ability to roll back. While the above steps on rollback should allow you to rollback using the Add/Remove Programs method: System Restore shouldn't really be off. ***

    You can't install WMP9 on top of WMP10 - don't bother - you're just wasting your time. You *have* to rollback first.
    If you uninstall XPSP2 without rolling back WMP10-beta first, that will break WMP10-beta (the symptom would be that WMP9 will always launch, even after you reinstall WMP10-beta). Run this and then reinstall WMP10-beta. This issue is fixed post-beta.
    Don't try running the WMP10 INFs directly - they are not AdvPack nor SetupAPI INFs, so running them directly in either install or uninstall fashions will break rollback.

    die einzige möglichkeit den wmp nicht in einem windows xp system zu haben, ist ihn gar nicht erst mitzuinstallieren.

    es gibt von microsoft eine media player freie version, (nach gerichtsstreit mit der eu)
    besorg dir so eine und installiere die.

    den windows media player zu deinstallieren ist nicht möglich.

    da es dir aber wahrscheinlich zu umständlich sein wird, windows ohne mediaplayer zu laden, schau dir das programm NLITE an,
    damit kannst du dir eine bestehende windows xp installations cd modifizieren, und dabei den media player herausnehmen, sicherheitsrelevante updates direkt mit auf die cd bringen und auch weitere programme direkt mitinstallieren lassen, ... eine unattended cd erstellen etc etc etc.

    schau es dir an, wenn du windows wegen des überflüssigen mediaplayers neu installieren willst.

    Danke für die ganzen Antworten habe mir die Windows Version ohne Wmplayer geholt aber ich werde auch mal diesen Wmplayer Lite testen!Hab euch allen mal einen 10ner für die Hilfe gegeben :]
