Aufrüsten, overclocken ? Welche Möglichkeiten hab ich

    Morgen,
    hab mich mal wieder nach nem neuen Game umgesehen und bin auf Divinity II gestoßen.
    Leider ruckelt es auf low und 1680*1050 (22") sobald einige NPC's das Bild betreten oder die "Sicht" weiter wird.

    So das als erstes Dazu gleich ne Frage, wieso steht beim Ram-Mode (das markierte) Single Channel, wenn im Bios Dual Channel steht? Habs extra nachgeschaut und mach nachher auch gerne noch ne Photo.

    Wenn noch was fehlt fragen

    So nu ist halt meine Frage, lohnt es sich den aufzurüsten? Wenn ja, wie? Die GPU ist doch eigentlich echt in Ordnung oder nicht Hat damals iwie 250euro oder so gekostet. An der liegt es nicht, das ich Divinity z.b nicht spielen kann, oder?

    Kann ich vllt overclocken? Als alternative. Und dann halt nachem i5 release mich mal nach neuen Teilen umsehen?

    Lad dir mal CPU-Z runter und schau mal, was dort unter "Memory" steht.
    Klar kannst du deine CPU übertakten, du könntest aber auch die Auflösung runterstellen.
    Erwarte aber nicht, dass du mit dem ASRock Board allzuweit kommen wirst in Sachen Übertakten.
    Was für einen CPU-Kühler hast du eigentlich?

    Okay, danke schonmal.
    Also liegt das Ruckeln an der CPU oder an der Graka, Ram oder weiß der Gott Also ich bin halt von der CPU ausgegangen, da die wirklich alt ist und meine GPU wie gesagt echt teuer war und dachte die taugt schon noch nen bischen was.

    Lüfter ist glaub ich ne ganz normaler, ich mach ihn gleich mal auf und schau nach aber wird nix dolles sein

    Naja dein System ist halt nicht mehr so aktuell dass die Spiele bei der Auflösung noch flüssig darstellbar sind, das liegt zum einen an der CPU zum anderen aber auch an der GPU diese ist eigt. zu langsam um in 1680x1050 gescheit was zu stande zu bringen und dann noch in Kombination mit dem etwas älteren 3800+

    Übertakten könntest du wird dir aber nicht so viel Leistung bringen dass du Dvinity flüssig spielen kannst. Am besten wäre wenn du Aufrüstest CPU, Mainbaord, RAM und Grafik

    Wie viel würdest dud enn ausgeben wollen und wie lange könntest noch warten?

    Ja ich hab halt für die Überbrückungszeit gedacht, dass man vllt übertakten könnte

    Wollte noch so 2 Monate warten mit dem nachkaufen von Teilen, da ich hoffe, dass die Preise dann auf Grund des i5 Releases und ähnlichem nochmal ein wenig sinken. Viel wird sich ja trotzdem wahrscheinlich nicht tun.

    Fang halt jetzt am 01.09 mit Zivi an und kann mir dann was sparen Momentan hab ich halt nur Kindergeld und das ist schnell weg


    Hab dann halt an nen 955er gedacht oder etwas ähnliches von Intel, da die ja besser zum Ocen geeignet sind. Werde in 2 Monaten ca nochmal nachfragen, was man sich denn so kaufen könnte/sollte. Hab halt gedacht, dass man jetzt iwie noch was rausholen könnte Wusste nicht das es so hoffnungslos ist.

    Ne Kumpel von mir hat die gleiche GPU aber nen 6400er Amd und kann das Spiel auf nem 24" flüßig spielen, daher hab ich halt gedacht, dass es eher an der CPU liegt, die Graka ist ja von Haus aus übertaktet und 512mb ddr3 sind ja nun nicht so schlecht, imho

    Das Spiel, das du vorhin erwähnt hast, ist auch in erster Linie CPU-Lastig und es profitiert von einer CPU mit mehr als zwei Kernen.
    Da ich aber vermute, dass du noch den Boxed-Kühler hast und du auch so nur zwei Gigabyte an Arbeitsspeicher hast, wirst du wohl nicht mehr viel reissen können.
